Summer Hill Farm strongly believes that keeping horses healthy and happy is a huge part of a successful training program. 

To ensure the happiness and comfort of each of our equine partners, we give the very best of care; feed the highest quality hay (4 times a day)  and grain, including a weekly bran mash.  Stalls will be well bedded with pine shavings and cleaned twice per day. 

Our highly qualified staff will manage your dental, farrier, worming, and routine veterinary care for you. 

 Your horses will enjoy all day turn out, 7 days a week (weather and footing permitting) and their comfort and protection will be assured with appropriate boots, blankets, and fly spray application at no additional charge. 

We also offer a light laundry service, and administer supplements, ordered and administerd through Smart Pak (Supplements provided by owners)

LESSONS

At Summer Hill Farm, we offer instruction for all levels of riders, from beginner to serious show competitor looking to compete on the "A" circuit. We will develop a custom program for you. 

We welcome children age 4 and older, as well as adults in our lesson programs.  We have wonderful lesson horses and ponies that have been hand selected for training and temperament.

TRAINING

Whether you are interested in starting and backing young horses, improving your flat work, starting green horses over fences, taking them to their first show, or just keeping your seasoned partner in their peak performance, Summer Hill Farm will customize a training program for you and your equine partner keeping your individual goals in mind.

Training Ride                $50   (includes grooming/tack up)

Exercise/Hack               $35 

Lunging    $25  (fun/play exercise lunge) 
                 $35 (lunge w/side reins/neck stretcher or working over poles)

We offer onsite schooling shows, travel to local competitions, as well as attend multi day USEF rated shows throughout New England to Florida.  We will help you decide your goals at the beginning of each show season and make a plan how to best achieve them. 

 We can help you qualify, take you to medal finals, or show your horse for you; giving your equine partner the experience and confidence to advance.
